"ANDY'S DAY," a short film

Written by Tom MacLear

A homeless schizophrenic with an unexplainable brilliance finds his way through each day, searching for something he could never understand.

Tom MacLear made his first professional stage appearance in 1963 as one of Fagen's gang in the Musical, 'Oliver,' in Blackpool. The same company later made it's mark with the play in the 'West End,' London, with Steve Marriott as the Artful Dodger.

Maclear later refined his skills in acting and direction at the Cal State Northridge Summer Workshops in the early 70's, with classmates Mare Winnigham and Wendy Joe Sperber. Then performed in and or directed numerous musicals, films and plays in college. MacLear then had brief stints with the L.A. and Burbank Civic Light Opera's until Rock and Roll carried him away.
